Upward Basketball and Cheerleading

Mighty Rivers is certified to sponsor this nationally recognized program for boys and girls grades K-6. We have offered Upward since 1999. Nearly 200 children participated in this Christ-based program last year.

Jason and Sara Spaulding are co-directors and their staff includes Tony and Erikia Davis, Timmy and Stephanie Gibson, and the pastor and his wife, Larry and Sandy Potts.

Upward begins with Registration Night in November, practices in December, and weekly game days in January and February. The program concludes with Awards Night where every child receives a trophy and special gift.

The Gospel is presented at practices and at half time of each game day.
